Even as adults, many of us still struggle with pimples, right?
I definitely do—and honestly, it drives me crazy sometimes!
And don’t you just love how they always show up at the worst possible moments?
Like right before a date, a hangout with friends, or a trip… it’s like they know.
Sometimes the stress of getting a pimple even makes me feel like I’m getting another one! (I don’t actually, but you know the feeling.)
Of course, there are people who rarely get pimples. Lucky them! But I personally believe it comes down to genetics.
If you’re the type who breaks out easily, you can’t completely change that. It’s part of your DNA.
But! You can manage it better with the right routine. So here are a few things that have helped me, and might help you too.
Tips
1. Use a peel-off cleanser regularly
I recommend the Hinocosme Honey Peel Cleanser. Using it once every two weeks works great for me! It helps keep my skin feeling fresh and clean without overdoing it.
2. Adjust your moisturizer depending on the season
Using the same moisturizer all year round isn’t ideal.
In the summer, heavy moisturizers can clog your pores. In the winter, lightweight ones might not hydrate enough.
Find what works for your skin right now—not just what worked a few months ago.
3. Always use a clean puff for makeup
This is a simple but game-changing tip.
Using a dirty makeup puff is basically inviting bacteria onto your face.
One of my friends started using fresh puffs, and her skin totally cleared up!
And now, the classic tips (you’ve heard them—but they work!):
4. Don’t overdo it with fast food
We all know greasy fast food like burgers and fries aren’t great for our skin…
But they taste amazing, I get it! I’m no supermodel—I crave them too!
But every time I binge on chips or fast food, like clockwork, two weeks later: pimples.
Not kidding. It’s wild.
5. Get enough sleep
Sleep is everything when it comes to skin.
Lack of sleep might not show up immediately, but just wait two weeks—you’ll see the difference (on your face!).
Pimples are frustrating, but you’re not alone—and you don’t have to just suffer through them.
By making small changes in your routine and lifestyle, your skin can totally improve.
Try out some of these tips, and let me know if they work for you! Let’s glow together!
See you next time❤︎
