Shining as yourself is true beauty

Social networking sites such as Instagram and TikTok have become commonplace to use. They are certainly very convenient and interesting, and I find myself checking them out whenever I have free time. Social networking sites are like a dream world. There are ordinary people who are as cute as idols, and people who are slim and beautiful even though they eat junk food.
I always look at social media and think, "I want to be like this, I want to be like this person! So I'll try to copy this person's beauty method! I'll try to copy this diet!" I've tried many times. But in the end, I can't keep it up.
I've only realized recently that no matter how much I try and lose weight or how much better my skin gets, I never keep it up because I'm doing it with the thought, "I want to be like this person."
What I'm trying to say is that, although there are good aspects to admiring someone, you are you. In the end, no matter how hard you try, you can't get perfectly close to that person you admire. There's nothing you can do about it because it's different at the DNA level. Despite that, if you keep trying to get closer to that person, you'll never be satisfied.
But you are you.
There is beauty in you.
Do you have to become someone you admire? Are you ugly if you're different from the person you admire?
Absolutely not.
Be yourself,
For me, I believe that beauty is something that enhances my own sense of beauty. Because even if I can't become the person I admire, beauty is something that will come if I put in the effort. If I put in the effort one day at a time, every time I look in the mirror, I feel happy to see myself looking more beautiful than yesterday.
And it makes me feel like I can do anything. I feel more confident than I did yesterday!
See you next time♡
